Slight fading to the cloth but a very good copy in somewhat worn frayed and faded dust jacket. Third edition revised "and very much enlarged." The first edition appeared in 1930 and each of the three editions consisted of 1000 copies. The binding bears the spine imprint "Milford" at the toe but OCLC/Worldcat does not record copies actually published under the Humphrey Milford imprint.
