Bien complet des 32 planches dont deux dépliantes et nombreuses figures dans le texte. Frontispice au tome 1. Déchirure sans manque page 278 du tome 1, les pages 522 à 527 sont détachées. Tome 2 : Déchirure sans manque page 149. 38 planches hors-texte, + le frontispice, et nombreuses gravures dans le texte. Quelques planches sont détachées. La reliure est frottée avec coupure sur le haut du dos du tome 1, épidermures. Le corps de chacun des volumes est en bon état, quelques rares brunissures sans gravité. Malgré les défauts de reliure décrits ici, reste un très bon ouvrage.
