Type: Z 428pp. A limited edition copy of this book being number 895 of one thousand copies printed. Bound in full red leather with gilt embossed lettering to the front board and spine and 5 raised bands to the spine. All edges gilt. Marbled end papers. Illustrated with numerous drawings throughout and 9 photogravures with tissue guards as called for. There is some rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the board corners. There is a scratch to the leather across the front board. An ex-library copy with a charming bookplate 'Bibliothecase Publicae Worthing' to the reverse of the front end paper and an ex-library stamp to the reverse of the preface page and small ink numbers to the reverse of the title page.
