Volume CLVII and Volume CLXII of The New Sydenham Society a medical society instituted in 1843 in London. With one folding map to each volume. Collated complete.The Society aimed to offer reprints of standard and rare English medical works miscellaneous selections from the ancient and from the earlier modern authors translations of the Greek and Latin medical authors and original works of merit including valuable books of reference but which would not otherwise be published.
