1943010434Bernhardt Wall 1943. Hardcover. Very Good Plus. Bernhardt Wall. First Collected Edition . Wall spent a number of years scouting out the places that had been important to Abreham Lincoln . From 1931 to 1942 he published a series of eighty-five volumes with eight to sixteen plates each presenting his etchings of Lincoln and the places in his life . He originally planned to print seventy-six sets of the etchings . However it seems unlikely that he reached this number . In 1943 he put the etchings together in this volume -- beautifully designed and printed . This is a unique interpretation of Lincoln and one that every collector of Lincolniana should have in his library . These copies are in very good condition . The interiors are clean no marks of any kind . The hinges are tight on the large volumes . All material is present no etchings have been removed . Bernhardt Wall hardcover
