Jules Verne 1828 - 1905 was a French novelist poet playwright and world-recognized Grand Master of science fiction and adventure. His series Voyages extraordinaires a widely popular series of scrupulously researched adventure novels included Journey to the Center of the Earth 1864 Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea 1870 and Around the World in Eighty Days 1873. The Survivors of the Chancellor: Diary of J. R. Kazallon Passenger French: Le Chancellor: Journal du passager J.-R. Kazallon is an 1875 novel written by Jules Verne about the final voyage of a British sailing ship "The Chancellor" told from the perspective of one of its passengers in the form of a diary.
