Bound by Petrus Ruban 1851-1929 in maroon levant gilt in a classic and elegant design of 9 gold fillets repeated in the spine compartments and dentelles. With lovely blue silk floral embroidered doublures and marbled endpapers. T.e.g. 28 cm large paper. Original wrappers bound-in.
