With commentary on the invention of printing the Latin alphabet and its development types of different countries during the fifteenth century the fifteenth to eighteenth centuries and much more. Written by Daniel Berkeley Updike an American printer and historian of typography. Previously held in the library of Gerald E. Cinamon an American book designer who was Penguin Books" main designer of arts and architecture titles becoming its chief designer in the mid-1970s. He was considered one of the most skilled designers of his generation. With a letter from Michael Denton of Denton Antiques London thanking Cinamon for the lending of this set.
