Price intact Jacket is a nice one. Red lettering on front panel still fresh though the small area of red on spine is sunned which is the norm for this title. Rear panel bright and fresh with no issues. Short closed tear at top of front panel light wear at spine ends and very small bookstore lavel on rear flap. Tan cloth binding with titling inred and black on the spine; Hemingway facsimile signature on the front cover. Clean text; 471 pages. Scribner "A" on the copyright page. Bookplate on front paste-down. Mild bumps; spine lettering rubbed. This is a sound copy but the binding is certainly a bit on the grubby side lacking wear but with more than usual soiling; no doubt due to storage. The dustjacket is also Very Good Minus. It is complete and unclipped $2.75 on flap. Second issue - has "Photograph by Arnold" on rear panel. Shows edgewear and wrinkling. Chipping at foot of spine and a quarter-inch chip across the top.
