Small octavo. 320 61-64 i.e. 4 ads pp. Publisher's quarter red cloth gilt and blindstamped cloth including the publisher's name boldly on both covers page edges sprinkled. Owner name on front fly. Binding cocked leather spine with neatly strengthened joints split at the spine ends and shallow loss at the crown first several leaves with some marginal staining and light foxing sound and good or better. The text on the whole has been nicely preserved. Issued as part of the American Educational Series. A worn but handsome American publisher's binding. Ivison & Phinney hardcover
