First published in 1642 the Florum Sparsio is a topically digested selection of excerpts from Justinian's Code with commentary by Grotius. It was intended to serve as a tool for legal arguments. Somma who wrote the additional notes in this edition was a Neapolitan theologian. They add philological detail and information about Neapolitan and Italian law. This is a scarce edition.
