The end sheets are marbled paper and the top edge of the text block is gilt. A 12mo of 7 1/4 by 5 inches with the leather worn through over the tips of the boards and the leather is rubbed at the head and heel of the spine. 172 pages of text. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 20 plates and small engraved vignettes at the head of each story.
