Fine binding of blue cloth over boards silver imprint of Peter Rabbit on the cover with silver lettering on the spine. Lovely color and black and white illustrations by Beatrix Potter.

About the book: from the dust jacket
Beatrix Potter The V & A Collection is the most comprehensive catalogue of Beatrix Potter material ever to have been published. It covers in detail the bequests of Leslie and Enid Linder amounting to more than two thousand items and including work in a variety of different media and by various members of the Potter family. Watercolor sketches finished drawings first editions original letters and juvenilia show the wide range of Beatrix Potter's own work while her parents and brother also provide evidence of artistic talent - Rupert Potter being represented by an outstanding collection of his photographic work as well as by an early sketchbook.
The catalogue is based on the handwritten volumes compiled by Leslie Linder for his own use but the entries have been modified to conform with current bibliographical and print- room practice. The work has been illustrated throughout with relevant items from the collection some of which have never previously been reproduced.
A catalogue of this complexity involving works in so many different media depends for its success on the collaboration of many experts. The foundation of the present work was the catalogue of his collection prepared by Leslie Linder for his own use. The supervision of all aspects of the task came within the province of the Library of the Victoria and Albert Museum and in particular of the succeeding curators of the bequest Joyce Irene Whalley and Anne Stevenson Hobbs. The original sorting and identifying of the material was carried out by art historian Emma Stone and edited by Celia O'Malley.
The Victorian and Albert Museum & Frederick Warne hardcover

19751420
320 Pages. First edition by the full number line. The dust jacket is not price-clipped.
This iconic cookbook derives from some of New York City's classic ethnic restaurants back in the 1970's. The dust jacket has four worn corners worn areas along the right and left verticle sides of the spine and along both top and bottom edges and lastly along its top edge there are two areas with pieces missing. The interior book's only two visible detriments are an inscription dated 1980 to a former owner and a black magic marker line across the closed book's bottom page edge next to its spine remainder mark. Outside of those two there are no further visible extraneous markings detriments or distractions and thus all of its printing and photographs are in a well-preserved condition and the sewn-in bindings remain tight and therefore would be sound.
If you order this classic 1970's era yet timeless cookbook from us we will carefully wrap it up in either foam or bubble wrap then pad and box it and ship it right away to you with both insurance and tracking on it.
Simon and Schuster hardcover
