VERY HANDSOME ISSUE OF THE POGANY ILLUSTRATED RUBAIYAT. An exquisite volume in a beautiful publisher’s gift binding. Based on Fitzgerald’s translation Pogany has filled each page with decorative Islamic style borders and decorations accompanied by 16 full page tipped-in color plates. A fine example of Pogany’s work a true gem is such condition and in this unusual binding. Printed in Scotland for Thomas Y. Crowell unknown
