Modern black morocco gilt-stamped lettering in red leather spine label gilt detail stamped direct on spine; 4to; pp. 3-52 plus 46 plates 11 of which are folding and heavily restored; 1 of which is laid-in. First title-page printed in red and black and with 3 additional lavishly engraved half-title pages. Binding is very fine indeed but condition of text block varies -- many folding plates restored full-page plates sometimes a bit browned sometimes a bit fragile and tissuey and sometimes remarkably nice and bright.
