Hoffmann has added a new preface for this edition as well as two additional chapters "New Miscellaneous Tricks" and "Recollections of Hartz The Wizard". There is a very large spot on the back of the book that has worn through the dust jacket and through to the book making the cloth part fray and exposes the boards. There is discoloration as well. The book is in good condition with some normal reader wear except to the back cover. The dust jacket is in good shape except on the back where there is a large portion that is missing with chipped/torn edges around the hole. There is staining/discoloration to the inside of the dj.
