Three first editions of these National Socialist photographic propaganda volumes comprising pictorial works celebrating the Saar plebiscite and its incorporation into Germany the Mosel region and the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter aircraft. Richly illustrated throughout with black and white photographic plates presenting staged and documentary-style imagery. Including two works edited under the direction of Heinrich Hoffmann 1885-1957 Adolf Hitler"s official photographer and a central figure in the visual propaganda apparatus of the Third Reich. Hoffmann"s publishing house produced widely disseminated image-led works designed to construct and reinforce Nazi narratives both domestically and abroad.
