OCLC locates 4 copies. Dr. Heinrich Hoffmann 1809-1894 was a German psychiatrist best known for his children's book Struwwelpeter a humorous look at children's behavior and manners. The illustrator and engraver are not identified but may be Edward P. Other included poems: Envious Minny; The History of the Dirty Child; Cruel Paul; Slovenly Betsy; Phoebe Ann The Proud Girl; Discontented Lucy; Idle Fritz; Simple Hans; Heedless Hugo; The Night Wanderer; Ned The Toy-Breaker; Prying Will; The Little Glutton; Tom Bogus The Sweet-Tooth; Harry Cobus and the Shang-Hais; The History of Doctor Wango Tango; and The Tragical Story of Mamy Katchem and Her Kittens.<br /> <br /> The copies listed in OCLC estimate the publication date around 1870 but we feel the date is later.
