Volume II contains twenty-two more poems a preface to Dryden's fables and the first couple of parts to his 'Tales from Chaucer'. With titles including: On the Death of Lord Hastings The Medal The Fair Stranger On the Young Statesman and The Lady's Song amongst others. With the life of the author a critical dissertation and explanatory notes from George Gilfillan a Scottish author and poet who was one of the spasmodic poets as well as an editor and commentator.
