Copperplate Engraved title-page 13 2/3rd-page portraits matching the likely client with his appropriate prostitute engraved texts underneath identifying each figure plus a four-line verse. 16mo 14pp with verso page 13 misnumbered 15 lacking one leaf; dutch floral board front cover dulled lacking rear cover and spine contents soiled and a bit stained.<br />First and only printing hitherto unknown and unrecorded styled in format like an early children's book but hardly that. Characters illustrating the Captain All'a Mode; Billy's Farewell Miss Notenough; The Man in Blue Wanton Polly The Keeper Polly Peachum; January and May; Wall-Pone Nor-Saw; and a preacher-man missing its companion figure. <br />Despite its faults an unique survivor from the Augustan underground interestingly identifying a familiar actor from The Beggar's Opera Threepenny Opera by John Gay 1728.
