Another woman is entering the chamber. On the left side of the frame is a bureau with a mirror and a goblet. The lady in bed is watching herself masturbating in the mirror. The first edition was published in a beautiful form in 1841 and four subsequent editions appeared during Drury's lifetime; a sixth after his death was edited by his son-in-law Mr. H. J.
