It was published in 1989 First edition and first printing. It is in good condition with tight binding however it has sunning to edges of pages due to shelf life. It is bound in original black cloth. Dust wrapper unclipped and in good condition except spine is sun faded. See photos for any imperfections.</p><p>Winner of the 1989 Booker Prize. Basis for the 1993 film starring Anthony Hopkins.
