It contains a house barn stable carthouse yard garden 3 orchards and 4 parcels of arable land of about 8 acres. Signed by Edmund Deane with his seal. Blue 6 penny stamp in margin. Occasional signature of John D. Coxe 1752-1824 a prominent Philadelphia attorney and judge in the court of common pleas in Philadelphia. Some acts relate to the Revolution including an act to protect Philadelphia another to furnish troops to protect the western frontiers some acts relating to Western Pennsylvania including an academy or public school in Pittsburgh and another act that inadvertently laid the groundwork for the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion by suspending the powers of the trustees of Westmoreland County until their accounts were settled.
