Twenty-seven newspaper editors in Illinois were asked to assist in getting together information that provided descriptions of points of interest photographs and exact locations in the state. This booklet was the result of their efforts and it became the first guide book of tourists and vacationers to Illinois. All counties are discussed along with points of interest hotels camping information facts about their areas etc. Through photographs many interesting scenes homes historic sites prominent hotels etc. are shown. There is a section along with a photograph of each of prominent citizens of the state. The large folding map in the rear pocket is in fine condition and points out towns cities villages highways etc. of Illinois.
