Spines with 5 raised bands and volume numbers in gilt. This 11th edition of Rollin's famous work on ancient history contains 13 folding maps 4 folding engravings and a frontispiece to volume one. A few of the maps are with open tears. Bindings with some wear but solid joints not cracked. As mentioned an early re-backing was done on the volumes but in a fitting and tasteful style.
