Blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the front cover and spine. A light 'cup ring' mark on front cover some slight shelfwear = some light rubbing to the head/tail and corners and a couple of scratch marks to the rear cover o/w clean and tight. Page fore-edges toned with a century plus of dust etc. No dustjacket. THIS IS THE REVISED RE-WRITTEN IN PART and EXPANDED SECOND EDITION 1909. No former owner's names or similar but there is a long mss note with references in ink at the end of page 47. I 'm not 100% sure this is not part of the book but I think it is a contemporary addition by an unknown former owner Plain brown end papers the odd foxing light tan spot to the first 4 pps but generally overall very clean inside with just the odd light mark here and there. xii 232 pages 4pp Publisher's book list at the end. The book is in three parts : - Part I 90 pages deals with the history generation and properties of high frequency currents; Part II 55 pages discusses the physiological effects; and Part III 75 pages discusses therapeutical uses. Illustrated in b/w with photos and drawings/line drawings. Utterly fascinating!
