183434689Norwich Connecticut: n/a 1834. Ledger. Good. Approx. 8" x 6.5" ledger book with marbled paper covered boards and marbled leather spine. Leather is scuffed on the spine. Covers have light edge wear. Ledger contains 62 leaves 124 pages of which 89 pages were used for recording names and other information. Eight used pages in the back only have one word to a brief heading top of the page. Several leaves in front and in the middle of the ledger were removed. Contents inside are clean. No owner name or group name recorded. <br /> <br /> Contents consist of alphabetical listing of Norwich citizens. The first page has the written heading on the top line "Residence. List of Voters in Norwich - 1834 - Political." Underneath the heading are 4 columns with the last name followed by the first names. The first name listed is Richard Adams. The last name is Marcus Young. A nice primary source of local family genealogy of Norwich. n/a unknown
