He is perhaps best remembered now as Elizabeth Taylor's third husband the only one whom she did not divorce Todd died in a plane accident a year after their marriage. <br /> <br /> Founded in 1929 at 132 West 58th Street by a former bootlegger the Stork Club served as a symbol of café society for the wealthy elite of New York. After being raided by Prohibition agents in 1931 the club moved to East 51st Street where it remained until its closure in 1965. <br /> <br /> 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus lightly age toned.
