Bound in leather with decorative endpapers. Many foldout charts and diagrams. Covers worn with a bare spot at the bottom of the spine. Possibly some water damage but not too bad.<br /> <br /> These are the first editions of Vauban's treatises on siegecraft and military mining. One othe most influential works on miltary technology in the 18th century. Volume one is complete with 36 plates.
