A detailed account of Lauzun's amorous adventures at the French court including an affair with Marie Antoinette and his services in Connecticut Yorktown and New York under the command of Rochambeau. After attaining high rank in the French revolutionary army he was "railroaded" to and died at the guillotine in 1793. This is the first printed edition of his memoirs.
