Les noms des artistes ont été prononcés devant une feuille de papier chimiquement préparée. Et de même que les pulsations du coeur s'inscrivent en zigzag sur les feuillets quadrillés des électrocardiogrammes, les noms des artistes se sont inscrits en forme de constellations. "Ce livre pourrait être lu par un sociologue, un étudiant, un amateur d'art, une bergère, mais aussi peut-être, au 95ème siècle, par un mutant des étoiles, qui, débarquant sur la planète déserte, découvrirait à travers cet objet l'idée que les terriens se faisaient de l'art, vingt-sept ans avant l'an 2000.
