Paul Harris is widely regarded as one of the most influential creators in modern magic celebrated for his ability to transform simple props into moments of profound astonishment. He is widely known as the mentor of magician David Blaine. Harris pioneered effects that emphasize emotional impact over spectacle encouraging magicians to focus on connection rather than complexity. His writings reshaped how magicians think about wonder itself presenting magic as an experience that shifts perception instead of just a trick. Harris's inventions have become staples in close-up magic and his philosophical approach continues to inspire performers who want their magic to feel organic human and genuinely surprising.

Original comb-bound first edition.
