Features a fold out map and plates and vignettes by Rober Dodd a marine painter. In three cantos. Also features additional notes and a sketch on the author's life who was born in 1730 in Edinburgh who became a sailor taking part in many important expeditions. Expertly rebound in a half calf binding with cloth boards. There is age toning to the spine and some minor shelfwear. Internally generally firmly bound and foxed throughout.
