With numerous plates and illustrations many in color several full page. The objects discussed and pictured include Ming and Qing portraits from the collection in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. The color pictorial dust jacket with a hint of waviness along the top edge. A Near Fine copy in a Near Fine DJ. 3 lbs. 8 oz. Published in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Sackler Gallery June 17 to September 9 2001. This group of paintings was originally assembled in the late 1930s and 1940s by Richard G.
