Large handsome bookplate of Hulda Heckscher on the front pastedown seemingly contemporary ink signature of Hugo Rheinhold presumably the German sculptor on a front blank along with a nearly full-page penciled gift inscription dated 1936. Binding worn at the corners and spine ends including one corner worn through and slight loss at the crown rear board with a few tiny stains hinges starting but sound and some offsetting and occasional light foxing in the text sound and just about very good.
