During the Revolution the Place de la Concorde was the site of many prominent executions including Louis XVI Marie Antoinette and Maximilien Robespierre. Buffet's print shows the view from opposite bank of the Seine. The Pont de la Concorde Luxor Obelisk and neoclassical architecture are in dark relief. Sight size: 22 1/2 x 18 in.
