A fascinating portfolio of five centuries of German decorative forged ironworks including 50 numbered b&w photogravure plates of historic port and trunk hinges door hinges door handles locks key signs keys etc each beautifully printed. Bösch was director of the National Germanic Museum in Nuremberg. Counterpart to the portfolio issued by Roeper "Möbel aller Stilarten vom Ausgange des Mittelalters bis zum Ende des XVIII. Jahrhunderts" Furniture of all styles from the end of the Middle Ages until the end of the 18th Century. Text in German.
