In this work he observes life away from home in the winter spring summer and autumn through words and pencil sketches. In a quarter morocco binding with pebbled cloth boards. Externally smart with light shelf wear to the boards and a little rubbing to the tail of the spine. Front hinge is slightly strained to the front blank but is firmly held by cords. The boards are a touch rubbed but remain otherwise strong and sturdy. Internally there is some light foxing to the end papers but there are no other markings or inscriptions and the pages within are neat and complete. The binding is secure. JK.
