Bound in a lovely Randeynes art nouveau binding with half leather gilt titles and blind stamped design to the spine. Marbled boards. The binding is a touch rubbed but overall in sound condition. Signed J.D. to the base of the spine. Binder's label to the verso of the marbled end paper. Original soft covers bound in. These are a touch darkened but sound. 87 numbered full page caricatures printed to recto of each leaf. René Georges Hermann-Paul 1864-1940 designed caricatures for L'assiette au Beurre Le Sourire Je suis partout. 20cm x 14cm. . Un très bel exemplaire de cette première édition. Relié dans une belle reliure art nouveau de Randeynes en demi-cuir avec titres dorés et motifs estampés à froid au dos. Les plats sont marbrés. La reliure est un peu frottée mais dans l'ensemble en bon état. Signé J.D. à la base du dos. Étiquette du relieur au verso du papier marbré de la fin de l'ouvrage.
