The series comprises the following pochoir plates illustrating four scenes in the life of Mado a beautiful young Parisian woman:<br /> <br /> - Mado Babille Mado is chatting over the phone - with one cherub listening to the conversation and another one watching the scene<br /> <br /> - Mado se maquille Mado is putting make-up on - with the assistance of the same two cherubs<br /> <br /> - Mado s'habille Mado gets dressed - also with the assistance of the same cherubs!<br /> <br /> - Mado se déshabille Mado gets undressed by two different cherubs<br /> <br /> The colors are among the most vibrant ever produced. Along with Raoul Dufy and Paul Allier Carlos Bady was among the last artists to produce this style of beautiful pochoir prints. Approximate size of each plate: Paper 9 1/2 x 7".
