Nameplate on front pastedown; scattered foxing; wear to the leather binding with minor loss at the top edge of the spine and small chips to the edges of the front board. Vol I is the work of Bossuet vol II is Bourdaloue vol III is Massillon. Text in french. Light shelf and edgewear to boards; all vols have rubbing along edges along spine and light wear along hinges. Gilt on top of textblock front edge is deckled. Spines bowed but binding strong. Bossuet Bourdaloue and Massillon were contemporaneous 17th-century French theologians.
