1855864F22Paris: Firmin Didot Freres 1855 . Leather. Very Good. 9" by 6". None. A smart copy of the theological works of Catholic preacher Jean-Baptiste Massillon who served as Bishop of Clermont for over twenty years. Besides 'Le Petit Careme' a sermon which he delivered before the young King Louis XV of France in 1718 his sermons on the Prodigal Son Christmas Day and the Fourth Sunday in the Advent are considered his best works.
