Daddy - Cotton Noe". A truly one of a kind item. Cotton's son was Sherod Stanfill Noe who married Francis V. Conklin. They had three children - Mary Frances and Shirley. The author gave this book to his son after the children were born. Pages are toned with end pages and pastedown showing moderate darkening. No other handwriting found in book other than inscription. The book includes the nominal role of the 154th Battalion CEF with rank name and place and date of their being taken on strength. The 154th Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry Battalion CEF was authorized on 22 Dec 1915 and embarked for Great Britain on 25 Oct 1916 and provided reinforcements for the Canadian Corps in the field . The battalion was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion in January 1917. The 154th Battalion is perpetuated by the Stormont and Glengarry District Highlanders SD&G. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
