182116037Paris: Blaise Jeune 1821. 1821-1822 incomplete set comprising volumes 3/4 5 7 8 9 10 11 12 14 15 16 17 18 19/20 21 22 - 18 volumes bound in 16 in later 19th or early 20th Century half-leather and marbled boards bindings lovely and fresh with a little decoration in gilt and blind stamps. Volumes 3 to 12 are labelled Bourdaloue vols. 14 to 20 Massillon and vols 21-22 'Sundrie Aut' but these seem to refer to periods rather than being solely the sermons of the named preachers. Most of the text blocks though tight and sound now with careful repairs by the rebinder have suffered some damp-staining. One volume lacks its title page and one page of text.
