Brown 1/4 calf blue-gray paper covered boards leather title label mounted on upper spine panel with the word "Voyages" in gilt 7 gilt spine bands. 311 pp. Moderate shelf wear rubbed with exposure along edges leather showing some surface rubbing but still nicely intact. Binding firm. Vintage owner signature of G. W. C. Evans on front pastedown otherwise unmarked. Unfortunately lacking main title so we are unable to confirm publisher edition or year of issue and we have been unable to match this copy based on pagination; printer indicated as R. Carr Church-Alley on final page of text thus indicating this edition to have been printed in Philadelphia most likely in the first decade of the 19th century Carr is listed as a printer at 19 and 10 Church Alley in the 1808 Philadelphia City Directory and other of his printings located institutionally are dated 1803-10. Interior otherwise decently intact with scattered foxing generally light ranging in a few places to moderate. This edition does not appear to have contained illustrations or maps. Hardcover
