Pen notations applied to many images 2 albums with "Rubattel & Weyermann S.A." in gilt on upper cover but all four are from the same source photographs generally very good to excellent a few rubbed. Albums of the period one will be improved some & internally in very good condition. An extensive photographic record of all the finely detailed Rubattel & Weyermann watch casings made over the period. Each is numbered consecutively and additional annotations are frequently present. All in all an extraordinary record of what was produced from this Swiss watch case maker. Rubattel & Weyermann are the same company that in 2002 became integrated to the Swatch Group. First edition of this lavishly illustrated set describing the first four decades of Alusuisse one of the world’s first aluminum producing industrial groups. They began production in 1889 in Neuhausen at the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen Switzerland. Of special interest are the illustrations and colour plates in this set featuring the artwork of Otto Baumberger 1889-1961 famed Swiss painter and poster artist whose mastery of lithography techniques allowed him to create striking images.
