A scarce Early nineteenth century Edition in full dark brown leather with decorative blind stamped Vingette to front and back boards. 5 raised bands 5 sections with blind stamping and one with gilt titles. Board edges are a little rubbed and leading corners bumped. All fore edges are tipped in gilt with decorative tooling. 4 very minor contempory japanese paper repairs to page edges not affecting text. I can only find one very light pencil inscription on the verso of the title page. Pages are lightly tanned and some very minor soiling to some pages but for a 214 year old book she is in much better condition than most modern books. <br/> <br/> Oxford.
