A complimentary copy -"With the Publisher's Compliments" written in autograph to the top of the title page original black end-papers. Original red cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine gilt vignette of lotus to the front board. Binding very good with a little general wear and rubbing to extremities very small nicks to cloth at head/tail of spine a little marked and dust-soiled with the spine slightly darkened. Contents clean and tight no inscriptions some foxing to frontispiece and half-title small repaired tear to rear end paper. A very good tight copy. William Blackwood and Sons Hardcover
