Torreggiani-- support the petition of 4464 residents of Malta printed in English and Italian. It states grievances and asks for more effective municipal government reform of election laws and criminal codes appointment of a civil rather than a military governor and sensible expenditures on local projects. They advise that the petition expresses "the wishes of almost the whole population of these Islands." FIRST EDITION. Not in NUC or on OCLC. unknown
