197629035<p>New York:: Random House 1976. First Printing of the First Edition. A Fine copy in a Near Fine price-clipped dust jacket. Crosby was an American heir bon vivant poet and an exemplar of the Lost Generation in American literature. During World War I he served as a volunteer ambulance driver. On November 22 1917 a German shell seriously wounded a man standing next to Crosby. As Crosby drove several wounded soldiers to a medical aid station his ambulance was destroyed by artillery fire. Miraculously Crosby was unhurt. He declared later that that was the night he changed from a boy to a man. After the war Crosby abandoned all pretence of living the expected life of a privileged Bostonian. Instead he moved to Paris with his wife and together they devoted themselves to art and poetry. Together they founded the Black Sun Press and published many important writers and poets in Paris. But because of his near death experience during the war Harry had a deep obsession with death until on December 10 1929 he and one of his many female intimates committed suicide. Some Crosby scholars maintain that Harry shot Josephine and several hours later shot himself. Others suggest that Josephine shot herself first leaving Crosby little choice but to follow suit.</p> Random House, hardcover

Copy belonging to actor Nick Dimitri who played the character "Young Hawk" with marker and ink annotations of his name his character's name and "Office" on the front wrapper with manuscript marker annotations of actor's names adjacent to the character's names on the Cast page.<br /> <br /> Created by Larry Cohen his first series as creator and producer the series was originally intended as an allegory about blacklisting during McCarthyism which according to Cohen lead to him being fired from the series after mistakenly telling its right-wing star Chuck Connors. Following star Connors' popular 1958-1963 Western series "The Rifleman" Connors stars as Jason McCord a former US cavalry captain who was court-martialed after being unjustly accused of cowardice. The series premiered on January 24 1965 and aired for two seasons and 48 episodes ending on April 24 1966.<br /> <br /> In this episode Connors comes upon a bound white Indian woman who says three wolfer brothers kidnapped and attacked her who he decides he needs to find and kill while returning her to her people.<br /> <br /> Green titled wrappers with credits for screenwriter Frank Paris. Title page present with credits for screenwriter Frank Paris. 31 leaves with last page of text numbered 28. Mimeograph duplication rectos only with two blue revision pages dated 11/4/65.
